Medical Center Enterprise Names Employee of the Year

ENTERPRISE, Alabama– Michael (Mike) Lee has been named 2014 Employee of the Year for Medical Center Enterprise (MCE). The recognition is the highest honor a hospital employee can receive.

Employees are nominated for the award based on their commitment to patient care, their professionalism and their contributions on the job. Mike was chosen from among 410 employees for the recognition.

“Each employee plays an important role in delivering quality care and creating the best possible experience for our patients,” said Rich Ellis, Chief Executive Officer. “Mike exemplifies the best of who we are as healthcare providers through his dedication to our patients and the hospital. It is a pleasure to recognize Mike and celebrate the hard work of all our employees.” Mike has worked at Medical Center Enterprise since April 1991. Mike currently serves as the Operations Supervisor in Information Systems, and has previously worked as Patient Care Assistant, Unit Secretary, Medical Records Clerk, and also multiple roles in Information Systems during his 24 years at MCE. Mike has received other awards in the past; having been nominated by the Medical staff as Non-Clinical Employee of the Quarter, received multiple MCE All-Star Awards awarded by his peers, and is consistently ranked as a top performer in Information Systems.
