Patients & Visitors
Current Visitor Guidelines
Any child age 12 or younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult (other than the patient).
ICU: Open visiting hours. Note: Only two members of the immediate family can visit the patient at any one time. Please talk with the patient’s nurse for restrictions about visiting for extended periods of time or end of life exceptions.
4N: Patients are allowed two visitors at bedside.
Isolation: Check with the nursing staff for instructions on isolation technique prior to entering the patient’s room.
Surgery or PACU: Waiting is permitted in the patient’s room or the waiting room on the nursing unit.
Emergency department: patients may have two visitors at bedside unless end of life, special needs or if the patient is 18 years of age or younger. All other visitors must remain in the ED waiting area.
For our new babies and mothers: (labor & delivery & post-partum) patients will be allowed two (2) visitors/caregivers at bedside. We ask that visits be restricted from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. each day since this is Mommy Quiet Time.
Outpatient surgery patients will be allowed two (2) visitors/caregivers at bedside.
Outpatient procedures (lab, radiology, sleep, etc.) will be allowed one (1) visitor/caregiver to accompany the patient.
Most Medical Center Enterprise entrances are locked after 9 p.m. Please use the emergency department entrance during these hours.
For the safety of the patients, staff and community, please do not visit if you show signs or symptoms of cold or flu, or have a known contagious illness.
At Medical Center Enterprise, we understand that coming to the hospital as a patient or as a loved one's support person can be a difficult, often overwhelming experience. Whether you’re preparing for a hospital stay or stopping by to see friends and family, knowing where to go and what to bring will help make your visit less stressful. To make your experience easier, we want to provide you with helpful information you may need to plan your visit, such as what to expect, parking instructions, transportation and more.
