MCE Healthy Woman Celebrates 7th Anniversary with Keynote Speaker Dale Smith Thomas

(ENTERPRISE, AL) - For women, fulfilling the varied roles and responsibilities required of them – mother, daughter, caregiver, friend, mentor, volunteer or career professional, not to mention finding time to care for themselves – is a challenge. Medical Center Enterprise launched Healthy Woman, a free program designed just for women, to help. Healthy Woman is designed to support a healthy mind, body and spirit for women – and the families they care for.
The Medical Center Enterprise Healthy Woman program is celebrating the 7th anniversary on October 2, 2014 at the Enterprise Civic Center with over 500 people expected to be in attendance. The night of fun and laughter will have photo booths, door prizes, delicious food and musical entertainment from Con Amore Trio, a musical string trio with two violins and a cello, and special keynote speaker Dale Smith Thomas. Dale Smith Thomas is an unapologetic optimist and a woman whose passion for making a difference is stamped on every page of her life. Her direct and powerful message has challenged and inspired hundreds of thousands of people around the world to make winning choices in every area of their life. She is the president and founder of Winners By Choice, Inc. but some may recognize her from one of her many national television appearances. Because of her message and her work she has been a featured guest on The Dr. Phil Show, The Big Idea on CNBC, CMT and she was featured on a documentary on The Travel Channel. She even hosted two of Hollywood’s most famous in her home, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
A Healthy Woman Advisory Council composed of women throughout the Enterprise community has been assisting the program in identifying topics of interest and promoting the program throughout the area. Members of the council are: Laren Allgood, Meghan Cole, Lisa Fenner, Pam Gillis, Toni Kaminski, Serena Lewis, Beki Johnston, Cara Morris, Jan Sawyer, Angela Seals, Bert Stephens, Natasha Sumblin, Sara Slawson, Vicky Tonn, Beverly Trickler, Frances Williams, Karen Worthington and Joan Ziglar.
